Feature story on Kyle Atras from Hood College, who had a heart transplant as a baby and went on to swim competitively at the Division III level.

“I was 8-and-a-half months old when I received a heart transplant at Johns Hopkins in Baltimore, Maryland,” explains Kyle Atras.

Today, the Hood College senior is closing out his collegiate swimming career and has his eye on both the World Transplant Games this June in Göteborg, Sweden, and a career in sports broadcasting. Read more…
